Founded by interior architect and decorator Rylie Fitzgerald, the studio's approach has been refined through diverse experience: leading a boutique studio in Belgravia's cobbled streets, installing homes from Riyadh to Lake Como, and working in-house with luxury developer Gurner Group in Melbourne—designing for discerning clients including Australian icon Shane Warne.
The practice bridges interior architecture and decoration as inseparable disciplines. We specialise in creating interiors that feel like home—regardless of function. “We engaged Rylie to complete a makeover of our 2 level inner city Melbourne apartment.
The brief was somewhat conflicted as it had to celebrate the existing over the top tiling, cabinetry and fixtures.
Rylie managed to do this with a design incorporating layers of carpet, rugs, textured wallpaper and tactile furniture.
The end result includes brave use of patterns, fabrics and lighting; transforming the look of the apartment, to that of a small luxury hotel.
Rylie extensive list of suppliers was invaluable as quality bespoke furniture could be made in Melbourne and quality tradesman engaged, to install complicated cabinetry and wallpaper.
